BIO

This rock solid musician is a songwriter, performer and producer with his own studio, and a rock solid Christian. Aaron Thompson brings his sweeping instrumental talents and tremendous vocal range to Turn the Page, recently released by Disciple Records, a division of GIA Records. Ranging from the fast and fun to the edgy, the music on Turn the Page is filled with faith and talent. "I really like to really mix things up style-wise and tempo-wise," he says. "I want the audience, whether they're young or old, to find something that they can grab on to and take home."

Aaron has the ability to write vulnerable heartfelt songs such as Days of Grace and deliver them with the intensity of a thundering locomotive. Mystical Radical God moves us -- body and soul -- as songs delivered in driving guitar rock smoothly give way to simpler songs of belief and encouragement. His album, If You Sorrow, combines piano and vocals for a gentle comforting of the soul.

Aaron is gifted with a magical voice and versatility in performing on keyboard, guitar and trumpet. He moves easily from doing solos to leading retreats to powerful full band concerts. He got his first taste of performing at the Newman Center at Northern Arizona University, where he attended on a full trumpet scholarship. While in college, he also toured with the Continental Singers.

In addition to his work as a recording artist and performer, Aaron is director of music ministry in Arizona, where he lives with his wife and children. "My ministry as a church musician drives much of the stuff I write," he says.
