It’s been a year of moves and growth, highlighted on the musical front by Aaron’s first record deal with Disciple Records, and his first publishing deal with World Library Publications.

These catchy, upbeat tunes will put anyone in a feel-good mood. Some will make you dance, some will challenge your emotions, some will bring tears. The music is rich with full harmonies, all guitar-driven. A great cd is one you can play in many settings: while driving, working out, while spending time with friends, etc. That's Mystical Radical God. If you like Christian Rock with a slight edge, check it out. The Good News hasn't sounded this good in a long time!!!
10,000 Angels
I was so inspired by your song 10,000 Splendid Angels. When I closed my eyes God blessed me with the Beautiful, brilliant,splendid image of 10,000 angels with candles, walking with people smiling and singing up to the mountaintop. What an incredible song it was.
I shout out a BIG "HOORAY" for your special song. 10,000 ANGELS ! Please keep performing this and don't ever stop! There are sooooooo many Catholics... who have strayed from the church and are struggling with "Coming Home" to Jesus and all that He represents in today's world. Your song, 10,000 ANGELS would truly be a song that would speak and maybe "plant a seed of Christ". I feel that so many Catholics, my age and younger (under 35), get caught up with what the world says is acceptable and right .. They forget or lose faith in what they were taught as young Catholics about staying true to yourself and Jesus Christ. even when the world disagrees with you. Your song says that's all in the past and God will take us back no matter what!
Flow Through Me from Mystical Radical God.
I love this entire CD...if I had to pick just one track that I liked to call it my "favorite," then it would have to be flow through me. I have had the extreme privilege to see Aaron perform live. I was delighted when I found that the energy I experienced live was also present when I listened to the CD. Bravo Aaron!! Thanks for making great music that fosters great feelings. ...Aaron is a versatile singer and songwriter... Aaron is more of a poet than a songwriter in the aspect that he tells a song more than writes lyrics. Not everybody can pull this off, but thankfully he can. His voice remains rock solid throughout and the background vocals are layered just enough to add color.
Probably one of my favorite songs on the album is “Just Passing By.” A very acoustical performance, this is the portion of the album where things could fall apart. However, Aaron continues to deliver a stellar performance. It’s more of what we should hear on radio, but aren¹t given the chance.
We finish things up with “Love Your Enemies,” definitely the most rocking, edgy song on the album (even with the muted trumpet played by Mr. Versatile himself, Aaron Thompson). At 6:30 in the morning, I found my foot tapping (and trust me, at that time in the morning, not much wants to move until I’ve had my first glass of sweet iced tea). I actually didn’t want the song to end. But alas it did.
